Dark red skin over white flesh, oval to oblong with shallow eyes so there is very little to dig out. Sangre is a boiling and baking potato that ranks high in taste tests, and it keeps well into the winter. Certified organic, grown without synthetic chemicals.

Early in the season the skins have not fully set, so you may notice some peeling from cleaning. That is normal, and those potatoes are best kept in the fridge. Later in the season the skins thicken and they store well in a cool pantry.
