Sage has citrus and pine notes to its flavour, dried sage is less bitter than fresh. Sage goes well with poultry and pork dishes and sausages. This herb retains is flavour very well for long periods of time.
Many people have told us they would like to come to the garden when we are harvesting sage and the yard smells beautiful when we are drying the herb.
