Hand-rolled cabbage rolls from Hung Uke Ukrainian Kitchen in Red Deer, made with fresh (sweet) cabbage leaves and a rice filling. No meat.
14 pieces per tray. Frozen.
How to prepare: thaw first for best results. Cover the rolls with water and a small drizzle of oil, cover the tray with foil, and bake at 350°F for 1½ to 2 hours. Optional: top with a tomato sauce made from tomato soup, water and a splash of vinegar.
Ingredients: cabbage, rice, onion, canola oil, carrot, chicken soup base, salt, white pepper.
